As I was driving out for a surf I noticed the fog becoming thicker and thicker. It became so thick that you couldn’t even see the waves, just the edge of the rocky shoreline and giant trees ascending into the unknown 🌫️
I intuitively felt that by the time I got my wetsuit on and paddled out, the fog would begin to lift. That being said it was ominous and strangely thick & foreboding.. as I started to pull on my suit I noticed 2 Stellar Jays hopping around in the bushes close to me, the closest I have ever seen these beautiful birds! Their blue feathers striking & appearing iridescent even in the soft light.
What I felt first in their presence was fearlessness; which was amplified by a strong sense of support from the spirit realm. They reminded me my Guides and non-physical friends were there with me, and that they too were there to support me. This gave me new courage to trust my intuition and continue my journey to the sea, where the swell was forecasted to be quite big and the fog still thick. I also felt a strong reminder to stay present and enjoy this adventure moment by moment; and to trust that I was safe and would have a wonderful time.
By the time I got to the waters edge the fog was just starting to lift and could start to see the glorious sun beginning to shine through. I paddled out and into some big waves, but they were not very strong so it was very manageable and fun. After catching a couple the fog had almost completely lifted and just sat there in the warm sunshine admiring all the beautiful blues and greens and feeling immense gratitude for the magical experience 🏄♀️☀️
It wasn’t until I got back home I realized the name of this bird corresponds to the cosmos. Truly amazing spirit friends and most definitely Stellar!! 🥰🌌 Thank you thank you thank you for your support and encouragement 🖤💙
