Spiritual meaning of seeing a House Finch.
I remember so clearly one day a couple years ago, while in an intense clearing process and feeling really lost and down when I looked up and saw a house finch on my balcony railing. It instantly cheered me up! I was so moved by that moment that when I felt an impulse to pull out my watercolour paints months later I painted that bird. Words to describe how I felt when I saw it are joy, happiness, and a message of “stick in there good times are ahead!”; which all can be summed up as a beautiful dose of positivity. When you see a house finch (& this post counts!) trust that it is a Divine message of encouragement for you 💕✨
You can see in the photo the finch is holding onto a wire, which I felt was an amazing synchronicity to show how these birds live in harmony with humankind. They have learned to thrive in town and city environments and show us that we can adapt to any situation that we may find ourselves in for the benefit of all. The wire and background of the photo is grey, which I thought wonderfully conveyed the wisdom this animal can share with us.
The other major feeling I receive from house finches is a message of freedom, a message of celebration! Slow down and celebrate even the smallest of wins in your life with gratitude, thankfulness and appreciation. Stay positive, stay in your flow and know that big wins are ahead!
Thank you to these small and sprightly birds for spreading joy, reminding us to live harmoniously and that we already have everything we need within us! Now there’s a reason to celebrate 🙌🥳
