Free will is the ability to choose a will other than your Will. I use capital ‘W’ Will to represent your higher Will, not the will of the fearful ego. Nothing wrong with the ego, it is here to help, but just not in its lower state. Lower being fearful, Higher being loving.
You can choose to live the will of your parents, religion, culture, boss, partner, your fearful ego, etc., and most people live a life dedicated to one or a combination of these. Pre-awakening I lived the will of my parents about 70%, fearful ego 29% and about 1% of my true Will, and is funny because when I lived that 1% is when my parents and everyone around had a big problem with me; which pushed me back into living by their will and my fearful ego’s will.
It is interesting that in the plant kingdom, no one questions the Will of a tree, a flower or a vegetable; while in the human collective we often feel controlled, manipulated and even forced to live out the will of others.. and sadly we often don’t even realize this is happening. IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE THIS WAY.
Imagine living a life of ease, effortlessness, joy, harmony, and freedom. This is your Will.
